About this case

A Torah case whose whole body is one continuous relief of Old Jerusalem — crowded lanes and houses, the Holy Temple with its ornate façade, the Western Wall plaza and the city walls and gates.

The blackened finish deepens the shadows between the details, bringing out every stone and arch and giving the case an aged, dignified look.

The head is a filigree dome with a Swarovski-set crown, topped by a rising finial hung with stone pendants. A twisted-rope band finishes the base.
