Bavli Haftarah Case
The Bavli Tradition, for the Haftarah
Bavli-style Haftarah case in silver plating, with dense floral relief set with turquoise-tone stones, gilded rope bands and a crown of finials hung with gold bells.
About this case
A Haftarah case in the Bavli style, continuing the tradition of Babylonian cases: its whole body is a dense web of flowers, leaves and scrolls in silver relief, with a turquoise-tone stone at the heart of every blossom.
Two gilded rope bands frame the body above and below. The head is a crown of arches holding gold bells, topped by a peaked dome between four tall finials hung with small bells on chains.
The case is built around your Haftarah scroll, with room for an engraved dedication — and it can be matched to your community's Bavli Torah case, so the two read as one set.
