Jerusalem Haftarah Case
Jerusalem in Silver and Gold
Haftarah case in relief of Old Jerusalem with a gold-plated Holy Temple, opening in two on a gold hinge, with a crown, finials and bells.
About this case
A Haftarah case whose body is one continuous relief of Old Jerusalem — crowded houses, lanes and stairways, the Western Wall plaza and its great stones. The case opens in two on a gold hinge running its full height, and the relief carries across both halves.
At the top of the relief stands the Holy Temple in gold plating, with gold accents scattered over the city's domes. A fine rope band circles the case at the top and base.
The head is a city wall of arches holding gold bells, with domes and finials hung with small bells — a silver-and-gold Haftarah case that sits naturally beside a Jerusalem-themed Torah case.
